Nah its the same lesson, he probably just cut the part that the code doesnt work anymore, cuz if you preview the lesson on the website (Three.js Journey), its the same video.

If you look at the code provided with the video you will find its updated. Now all instances of the Class Geometry i.e BoxGeometry are now Buffer Geometries by default. This was an update in Three.js.
