The only thing that has changed in the last 3 years in this course is the title, and a new html file in Section 7 - Introduction to MongoDB that states you don't need to install MongoDB locally and can skip several install videos. I think it just got frustrated that things kept changing or breaking with the install and didn't want to update the video or keep answering issues with the install.

Udemy really should add a changelog for courses when creators update the course, so you can see what was changed. Most of the time it is just the creator adding the new year to the title to make the course seem more relevant.
