Description

As I travel around the world I've noticed three things.
One, that many small multi-media newsrooms and media departments already have DSLR cameras that are very much under used.
Two, that photographers that are now being asked to shoot video as well as stills are feeling they're unable to do both well.
Three, that those using DSLR's think using Smartphones to film is cutting corners and compromising quality, whilst those already filming on Smartphones think DSLR's are old fashioned and can't do anything a Smartphone can do.
The solution to all of the above is to use both together, connecting them wirelessly and using them out in the field as a joined up film making solution. I've seen and taught this way of working for quite some time now and it's the film making equivalent of turning up at saturday afternoon street race in a Formula One car.
This is the definitive, broadcast standard, DSLR / Smartphone Integrated Film Making Masterclass from internationally award winning documentary producer and award winning media trainer, Dean Arnett.
This course will take you from the absolute basics of Smartphone and DSLR basics, through all the necessary accessories for both, sound, lighting, framing, composition, how to shoot sequences, exposure and focus, through editing and live streaming all the way to connecting your DSLR and Smartphone together to give you a completely symbiotic film-making workflow.
By using your DSLR and Smartphone together you can maximise the quality of both video and stills, film via your smartphone using high quality lenses and telephoto solutions, supercharge your workflow, send material back to base quicker, publish online fast and easily or jump straight into the edit whilst you're still out in the field.
This masterclass is based on the course that Dean delivers all over the world to broadcasters and corporate clients.
