Description

In this course, you will NOT learn how to use every feature of Microsoft PowerPoint or how to design a slide like a graphic designer. Why do you need to do so? Most people use only 30% of the features in PowerPoint. There are plenty of wonderfully designed PowerPoint templates out there for us to use for free.
But, why do most people still fail in presenting with slides? This is where this course can help. We will focus on how to use the data visualization tools (e.g. tables, charts, graphs) in PowerPoint effectively to allow your audience understand your intention or message at first glance on the slide. Also, we will discuss the how to use correct elements of color, formatting and animation to highlight key messages in slides. Lastly, we will review the different frameworks used by Fortune 500 companies when it comes to presenting crucial information to their employees and customers. This course will also provide you with toolkit and templates to speed up your slides' development.
This course is an accumulation of over 12 years of my personal experiences in presenting with PowerPoint as an engineer, a product marketing manager and a recruitment marketing program manager for one of the top technology companies in the world.

Who this course is for:

  • Anyone that wants to improve their slide design to communicate the message effectively
