This course will go in depth analysing the 2D character and the best tools to bring it into 3D, always keeping the spirit of the drawing.
- First we'll analyse how to best translate the flat image to a 3D model.
- Then, using Blender's Grease Pencil feature, we'll add frame-by-frame animation, 2D details, and unique ways of making your image special.
This course will cover the following:
- Learn to analyse the 2D character to translate it into 3D
- Sculpting in Blender to achieve an organic, tactile feeling
- UV unwrapping & painting on 3D objects
- Using Grease Pencil to paint on 3D objects & add 2D animations in the 3D scene
- Build custom rigs without needing to use Rigify
