If any one of you is interested there is this newer firebase / supabase clone that is literally one file, it is called pocketbase... runs natively on windows / macos / linux, written in go, even has a built in web-based admin. Uses sqlite under the hood (with WAL) has email, auth (even 3rd party), and file-based storage (local or s3-compatible). And has a js/dart and even a python api (python is not official).
There is no need to run docker and like a ton of containers like with supabase local cli.

Then this other one that is probably written in rust, currently only for macos/linux or wsl, has an interesting name: "chiselstrike". It is very similar to pocketbase, but also has optional message/event streaming built in (you need to run kafka on the jvm for it).
