I found this because I was searching for what had happened to Babiato. Have been refreshing the page everyday when I logged on to my computer. Hopefully it will come back soon.

Same, I got here searching for "Babiato down" in google
At first I thought it was a temporary issue with CloudFlare
After 24 hours I realized that it was serious

Let's all not forget. He has a backup. yes, it's not recent, won't have as much data as it once did but it's not a four-year-old backup. If I can pinpoint the exact time I gained access to it after it went down yesterday. It had my old username on there. If I can calculate my time of joining the backup it was around November 2021. That's only 6 to 7 months of lost data. Yes, that is a lot but it could have been worse.

I am confident they will return. It is daft for them not to and with a backup taken only last year. It won't take long for us to catch up with lost data, help and tutorials. They have a large community and can imagine many from Tut are part of that community. I only came here by accident wanting to know what happened.

It is a pleasure to find another strong community that can help others out. One day it will be two. .

Found this after searching for what happened to babiato.
Babiato was my go to place for all the resources and learning.. the community was unmatched.. this news really bummed me out.. at first i thought it was some temporary server issue and i kept checking and refreshing after every couple of hours.

i really hope babiato comes back, even with old data or no data or with whatever they have..
the value it added to my life is unmatched.. it was not just another resources site.. the community was pure love..

@TUTProfessor you once said you love Babak and Babiato how do you feel about the forum being dead? Babiato and Tutflix were two of my favorite forums. I hope that Babiato will return and that Tutflix will be shielded from any future attacks.

I've still not heard anything from Babak but Andy Kim is hoping to resurrect Babiato and I'll pass on more info when I get it.

I almost can't believe it.
Like...seriously?

It almost calls for someone else to start from scratch and make sure something like this can't happen again.
Countless members will have lost trust in the current "leadership". Most probably won't be willing to put the same effort into establishing their profiles again because, what's the point if all of it may be gone again by tomorrow?

This is just ridiculous. I could never have predicted that Babiato would fall down as easily as this - just due to SSD disk failure.

I believe Babak should stick with the most current backup he has, even if it is from a year ago.

The best that we, as devoted members, can do is make numerous efforts to maintain the forum's materials and contribute to the fantastic community that we had there in order to get it back on its feet as soon as possible.

I think it's a shame to lose a business strategy with such SEO, visibility, and traffic because the ad money must have been very excellent for them.

We hope to see Babiato.co back up and running soon, and if anyone knows of any way to assist them in these difficult times, please let us know!

Without a doubt, it is a lack of care not to have recent backups

On the other hand, no one would expect something like this to happen.

that babiato was not a blog or recipe site

It was an underworld website, with expert people
But a mistake is made by anyone
And everyone has the freedom to express what they think
