Why would you have access to the course if you get your money back?
But maybe before requesting you could download the course... Although I won't be responsible if somehow Udemy detects that you downloaded the content and are requesting a refund.

Yes I've gotten a refund once. It was for a Brad Traversy course on Javascript where you do 20 vanilla javascript projects. I bought the course and realized I had already seen atleast 2 or 3 of these projects on his Youtube channel and asked for a refund. I got my refund immediately no questions asked. I'm not sure if this is something that can be abused or not but I do think it is why some teachers have a problem with Udemy as it can be exploited to buy a course, download it, then refund it. But at the same time in my case as a customer I appreciated the quick no bs refund they gave me as I felt like Brad knew better than to include free content in his paid course like that.

Yes. You will receive a refund from Udemy when you request a refund. However, as mentioned in the comments, don't abuse the policy. I sometimes buy a course in high hopes that it will be great, especially if its from an instructor I know. But when I didn't like it I do request for a refund. I've only requested refund twice.

Yes you get a refund within 7-14 days depending on your bank
Udemy will start the request immediately and will take time depending on your bank

Yes and no
Almost bought 20+ courses.

Requested a refund twice.
The first time they only gave me udemy credits back. The other time i didn't qualify to get a refund. Lol i only watched 50 min of a 25+ hour course. And i didn't meet the requirements for a refund ? wtf ?
Most of the times the courses are one sale anyway. So it didn't hurt my pocket.
But be cautious when buying.

The course quality is also a hit or miss. There are a handful good courses. But most courses aren't even worth watching for free.
