Hello everyone.
One of my best suggestions to anyone wanting to take online courses seriously is to follow a very specific routine, that is fine-tuned for you and what makes you uncomfortably comfortable (if that makes sense). The first and most important is to turn off your most distracting device, your cellphone. The second thing is, make a new profile in Google Chrome specifically for your school work, and install an adblock plugin with filters that include ALL social media platforms, including Reddit.
The next thing to do is to print off the books you have digital copies of - even if you have a reduced cost digital copy, go get it printed at a fedex store or something of the sort. If nothing else, get a large tablet with Google Play Books and have all other apps restricted on a different account so you can only use it for reading. Just some thoughts. Keep your work area completely clear of everything, and do not eat at your desk.
And one more thing - even if your handwriting sucks, make sure you take physical notes. You can transcribe them into typed notes afterwards, but honestly, you might not be used to writing things down, but it'll help you commit things to memory even better.
Cheers everyone.
