To be honest, Please first take the React course from the ZeroToMastery because if you jump directly to NextJS without knowing the principal core from React then when you've an interview asking you some questions that is purely React then you won't be able to answer correctly, so I would recommend you first to start with pure React and then NextJS :giggle:
Thanks you for this insight!!!

The course is not yet complete, it is missing 2-3 chapters at the end. They are not yet officially released. I'd wait a bit for this to be honest.

But for fun, here is the course as it is now, probably 85% complete, all compressed (~2.5gb):

@dikk bro! Please share the updated version.
After a long await ;) here is the *FULL* complete course. I have only added the missing chapters and files (regarding next.js v12 update in chapter #3 as well + chapters 19-20-21) from the latest udemy-based update, the rest is from the original source. Size compressed is ~3.5gb (cca. 1/10th of original)

Thanks, didn't know they added the course to udemy, I will buy it then as I really like ZTM but don't like monthly subscriptions

Appreciate the update too, cheers!

thanks professor. i have just one question.how is this course 33GB? i hv downloaded similar (35+)hours of course but they never exceeded 15GB storage.
just for curiosity @TUTProfessor @dikk
Size is not only dependent on the length of runtime.
See, I compressed this 35+hrs course down to 3.5gb, the price you pay is:
  • lower resolution (720p instead of 1080p),
  • lower audio quality (56kbps mono used, original was probably 256k stereo),
  • more capable video compressor codec (h265 instead of h264)
  • video compression is also set to lower quality settings to allow for higher compression rate
  • and finally video frames per seconds shown went down to 5 from 30.
All of this is to be able to store less data.
Every setting is there to store less information about the video and audio while trying to keep a quality that is still usable (or should I say enjoyable?).

[ There are courses that are uploaded in 4k which is really a humongous waste of storage space. Designcode courses are sometimes recorded in 4k, older computers (without a capable hw decoder or cpu) can't even play those without stuttering, or the cpu pegged at 100%. ]
